During my recent stay at Apvalaus, I found the experience a mixed bag, offering both value and a hint of luxury. The location was a definite highlight, with my room providing a great view of the castle. The cozy atmosphere set the tone, although the basic amenities, like the absence of a fridge and somewhat thin walls, left something to be desired. Check-in staff were friendly, with excellent English, although I encountered hiccups with the parking situation; it's cash-only for meters, which could be inconvenient for international travelers. On the plus side, the spa services were an indulgence worth considering, even if they're extra. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi. For the price point, it's essential to weigh these aspects against the overall experience. If you're keen on combining culture with a touch of relaxation, Apvalaus may just fit the bill.
